Students will learn to produce and bake a variety of breads and other dough products using baking equipment and machinery. They will also learn to work in a safe and effective manner and monitor operational processes in the retail baking sector. Upon successful completion students will be able to commence employment in the hectic baking industry in areas such as plant bakeries, in-store bakeries, franchise bakeries, restaurants, hotels, coffee shops, cafés and specialist baking businesses.
